Alexandra Bachzetsis (lives and works in Zurich/CH) understands the conceptual and physical form of the human body both as a medium and as a process or substance. In a scenic solo exhibition at Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, Bachzetsis presents a new work entitled Notebook. The project is a radical exploration of the performer`s own biography as a dancer, choreographer and artist. It not only incorporates autobiographical aspects of her life, but also focuses on her artistic affinity for the fragmentary, sketch-like and unfinished in creative thought processes. 

In the context of the exhibition, a survey catalog of Bachzetsi's work, published by Roma Publications and edited by Hendrik Folkerts and Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, will be released.
