Since its inception, the Kunsthalle St.Gallen has repeatedly shown young artists in a phase in which their names are not yet known to a broad public. These are new positions to be discovered, but nevertheless mature works that embody a certain new sensuality of men. What they have in common is a sensitive, fine language of form and colour far removed from the ostentation of large male sculptures.
